He has expertise supporting those struggling with substance use, PTSD, and trauma, using visual-kinesthetic dissociation techniques to help resolve traumatic experiences such as sexual assault and car accidents. Macus empowers clients to heal and grow through structured, evidence-based approaches.
In addition to mental health conditions, Macus provides specialized support for men’s issues, military and veterans’ concerns, and couples navigating relationship difficulties. His couples counseling helps partners build stronger relationships through communication and problem-solving strategies. He also works with families to address complex dynamics and behavioral issues in children and adolescents.
Macus earned his Master’s in Social Work from Florida International University, which laid the foundation for his clinical expertise and commitment to compassionate care. Outside work, he enjoys puzzles, board games, reading manga, and learning new dance moves. An avid exerciser, he values physical activity for mental health. Committed to lifelong learning, Macus continues enhancing his clinical skills to better serve Florida residents.
