My name is Marie, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, especially during seasons of transition, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm. Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, struggling with anxiety or depression, healing from past trauma, or working through relationship or family issues—I’m here to walk beside you with compassion, clinical insight, and nonjudgmental support.
As a Black woman and therapist, I bring a culturally sensitive and affirming lens to therapy. I understand the unique challenges that can arise from living at the intersection of multiple identities, and I strive to create a safe, empowering space for healing, self-exploration, and growth.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I meet you where you are and support you in moving toward the life you truly want—one where you feel more confident, connected, and in control.
