“Her aura was just & she articulated her self well. I high key wish she was my doctor ! However I believe she is the owner of the business hence why she paired me with another therapist. For the first time I feel hopeful for this process based on her conversation alone. ”

Getting to know Shellian Eliece Williams

I do not Prescribe medication Many people think therapy is a one-sided conversation, with little interaction or opportunity to connect as real people. I can promise you that with me, what you see is what you get! I’m here to help you achieve your goals, find solutions, and make life changes, all while making the process as enjoyable and engaging as possible. Therapy doesn’t always have to be painful, and I strive to create an experience where you can explore yourself in new, meaningful ways. Making that first call to a therapist can feel intimidating, but I encourage you to take a moment (and maybe a deep breath) to reach out. Together, we can work towards a better, more fulfilling life. Life is too short to be stuck in bad relationships, overwhelmed by emotions, or controlled by trauma, anxiety, anger, or depression. My goal is to help you find emotional freedom, cope with life’s challenges, and find meaning and purpose in all areas of your life—whether it’s work, family, friendships, or spirituality. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Andrews University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey. I DO NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATION

What should a new client know about working with you?

working with me you can expect a warm, collaborative and relatable approach to therapy. I focus on building a safe trusting environment where you feel comfortable expressing your fears and concerns. You won’t feel like you’re talking to a wall; instead, expect a real and interactive conversation. My goal is to help you experience self-awareness and empower you with tools and strategies to manage your emotions and challenges effectively while also providing ongoing support throughout the therapeutic process. Therapy can be both transformative and empowering, and I’m here to support you as you take those steps.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When beginning work with a new client, I first focus on creating a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. During the initial session, I spend time getting to know you, your background, and the specific concerns that brought you to therapy. Together, we identify your goals for our time together. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), depending on your individual needs. Each session is collaborative, meaning we work as a team to explore challenges, uncover patterns, and develop effective coping strategies. I believe in integrating practical tools with deep emotional exploration to help you build a more fulfilling life. Throughout our time together, I’ll continuously adapt my approach based on your evolving goals and progress.

You are not seen by the person you book with, so you pay the full consultation fee for a 15 min session. You are then seen by someone else who asks you all the same questions as the initial and second person never spoke. Even after the consult they paired me with someone who was the opposite of what I said I was looking for.

Psychotherapist Williams has not completed her PhD, however, I refer to her as Dr. Williams because her knowledge base and clinical skill are truly doctoral level. Dr. Williams helped me heal a lifetime of trauma. From the first consultation to the first appointment she has proven to be client informed, compassionate and attentive. Her ability to actively listen and respond to client's narrative is impressive. She troubleshoots second to second by following non-verbal and verbal communication. As a fellow clinician I can assert that Dr. Williams is 5 star worthy. I attend sessions for personal and professional growth as she is an excellent example of an efficient clinician. I highly recommend this clinician and I look forward to reading all her future professional self-help books. NY Times Best Seller list, get ready, here she comes!!!

I met regularly with Dr. Shellian Williams for about a year and a half to help treat my depression and anxiety. She was empathetic and gentle but also encouraged/challenged me to take the steps I needed to take to get better, which included seeking out prescription medication from a psychiatrist in tandem with doing therapy. She helped me get to a much better place over the course of a year and was consistently lovely to work with. I felt very comfortable sharing openly with her and felt safe in her care.
This video meet with Dr. Williams was fantastic. She was a clear communicator and great listener. She gave great recommendations and feedback!

Shellian is an incredible therapist, and I highly recommend her! She is a great listener and truly cares about our work together. She digs deep, challenges me to open up and get to know myself, and has made me feel more optimistic about my path towards growth.
I have been meeting with Shellian for several months and from the very first session, I found her amazingly responsive and completely in tune with my needs. She has given me so much to think about and her helpful insights have been truly transformative. She is friendly and easy going, but super smart and I appreciate the manner in which disseminates her ideas for me to consider. I am so appreciative.
The appointment was a brief consultation on what I hoped to gain from therapy. But Shellian seems very warm and easy to talk to. I’m looking forward to our 1st true session!
