Mary Beth earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Addictions at East Carolina University, where she also obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Mary Beth has experience counseling a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and substance abuse disorders. She utilizes techniques from evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Her previous counseling experience includes outpatient counseling for clients with substance abuse disorders, inpatient treatment for adolescent and adult acute services, and outpatient services for families as well as group counseling. She enjoys working with all age groups, especially young adults. In her free time, Mary Beth enjoys spending quality time with her family and her fur babies. She loves to travel, read, and play tennis.
