I have 40 plus years in the counseling field engaging in direct service and management. My orientation is eclectic with a focus on family dynamics utilizing, cognitive behavioral, psychoeducational, motivational enhancement, reality therapy, trauma therapy including EMDR and other relevant therapies. I work with individuals, couples, and families and have a family systems orientation. Thus, I focus on family dynamics and systems even if I see you individually. I deal with past trauma as it affects the present. I help the client to gain the awareness, make the choice, and take the action to make change.
