Melanie McClung is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. She received her training at Regis University and holds a Master of Arts in counseling as well as a post-graduate certificate in counseling children and adolescents. Melanie works with children, adolescents, and adults and has been in practice since January 2013. She has experience in addiction, community mental health, and group practice and has received extensive training on trauma and how it impacts daily life. Melanie has been trained in eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and sand-tray therapy as well as additional training in somatic therapy. Melanie believes that we can learn to thrive even after extremely difficult circumstances and that we benefit from having someone witness that journey.
