Feeling like a mess in a world that wants you to have it all figured out? Same. That’s why I work with college students and young adults who are anxious, burnt out, and/or in the thick of transitions. In session, I use a Person-Centered, collaborative approach. That means you're the captain of your ship, and I work as a navigator. Life can be hard, but we will work harder. As the wise philosopher Ice Cube said, "You can do it, put your back into it". My approach I use a Humanistic, solution-focused methodology. That means therapy is all about you and the future! Together, we will focus on building on your strengths, finding patterns, and connecting emotions to actions. All of this to help you navigate life's twists and turns more effectively. My focus Let’s be honest: Change is hard (even when it’s good or what you chose). Whether you're starting college, navigating early adulthood, managing relationships, or facing big questions about who you are and what you want. Here's the thing: you don't need to process it all alone. Therapy can be the space where you process and figure things out. And with me, therapy is without judgment, pressure, or weird fluorescent lighting. My communication style I've been told that my communication style is a hybrid of David Rose from Shitt's Creek and Casper the Friendly Ghost. My communication style is transparent and kind, while also being funny, direct, and providing accountability. My journey to mental healthcare I originally planned to become a psychologist — until someone introduced me to the world of social work. And suddenly, it all clicked. Social work offered a lens I hadn’t seen before: one that looks not just at what’s going on in a person, but what’s going on around them. I was fascinated by the “why” of behavior — the choices we make, the roles we play, and how our environment shapes it all. As I studied more, I realized that so many struggles boil down to one thing: communication breakdown.
