Michelle began her studies at Stony Brook University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology. During her undergraduate years, she volunteered as an ambulation assistant at the Long Island Veteran's Home, where she first developed an interest in physical therapy. After joining the Physical Therapy Club and serving as Treasurer her senior year, she graduated and moved on to studying Physical Therapy at the College of Staten Island.
Through her program, Michelle was able to participate in clinical experiences in several orthopedic clinics, a pediatric sensory gym, and the cardiovascular unit in a hospital. As a therapist, Michelle believes in incorporating the patient's individual goals into their treatment plans to optimize their return to activities they care about. She seeks to address every person as a whole and she builds personalized programs based on impairments and limitations.

Most relevant
Michelle is very sweet and personable. But every appointment I showed up to I felt less and less like a priority to her. I also didn’t feel like she was really trying to help me get better. I switched to another PT at another place and he did more to understand my injury in one session then Michelle had done in a whole month. And now after 3 weeks with him i’ve seen significant improvements over what I saw with Michelle. If you want a social club where you are not prioritized go to StarPro, but if you actually want to get better I’d recommend trying somewhere else.
