I have worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from young children struggling with impulse control to teens and adults struggling with trauma. I like working with individuals with relationship issues, personality disorders and trauma. A majority of my career have been working with these populations. I want to work with you to gain knowledge of your situation, gain skills you need to cope with the symptoms and gain control of your life back.
I have worked in a number of different settings such as in-home, case management, residential treatment facilities and outpatient. I use an eclectic approach that is grounded in person centered and trauma focused modalities. I like to create a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients and help guide them on their journey. I want to help you gain the confidence to say this is not how my story is going to end. I give clients a lot of control in their therapy work. Something I have learned is a lot of the times, clients come to therapy because they feel out of control.Sometimes gaining that control back can be difficult and be a difficult road to get there. Therapy is a journey. You are the driver and I am the passenger helping you navigate the winding roads. I would love to help you along that journey to find the confidence to live a happy, healthy life.
