I specialize in children/adolescents and complex trauma, with my priority being the relationship with the person. Connection, a true connection to another human being, can set the basis for the start of change. We sometimes foster internal thoughts and feelings that become hard to define or share. The secrecy and isolation of our reality magnify our fear, our sadness, and our loneliness. Trauma harbors in our bodies, and I work with each client in steps so that they are able to begin healing. Trained intuition helps me conceptualize in collaboration with the client.
My focus originates with trauma, starting with children and adolescent youth struggles related to depression, anxiety, and complex adult trauma. I see complex trauma in adults that is often related to the child/adolescent phase. I have a unique approach to mapping trauma and where it happened in your lifespan. This allows me to tailor therapy to you.
My role is to listen to you. To learn from you and for you, and become a fellow traveler who is by your side as we navigate the path to a place where life makes sense, where you realize your strengths and where you see the light towards the meaning of who you are and what you can become.
