Getting to know Amanda Wentz

My job as a therapist is to make space for your stories, your values, and your authentic self. I have over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults from a wide array of backgrounds and specialize in working with individuals contending with trauma, depression, anxiety, and/or suicidal ideation. Multiple treatment modalities inform my practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I strongly believe, though, that the therapeutic relationship is the greatest predictor of progress. Connection is what propels us to thrive, and a little laughter doesn't hurt along the way. My approach is aligned with my principles – humanistic, genuine, and open. Much of my clinical experience has focused on treating adolescents and young adults impacted by trauma or ongoing, severe mental health conditions. I am also passionate about working with individuals experiencing significant life transitions.
