My journey in this field has been driven by a passion for helping individuals process past traumas and better understand and cope with disruptive mood symptoms such as depression and anxiety. My approach to therapy is both encouraging and supportive. I believe in the power of self-reflection and self-acceptance as tools for finding greater purpose and meaning in life. Through respect and understanding, I aim to empower you to grow from your challenges, break old habits, and become a more authentic version of yourself. I utilize an Acceptance and Commitment model of Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, which emphasizes self-acceptance and acknowledging the realities of the world without being limited by them. Additionally, I incorporate an existential perspective, allowing you to direct the focus of our efforts to make meaningful progress. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with addiction, grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, family relationships, life transitions, PTSD, stress, and trauma. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. The road to a meaningful, happier, and more fulfilling life begins with small but significant steps.
