Ms. Gause is very easy to talk to, and she listens in a very non-judgemental way. I like the way she repeats back to me what she thinks I'm saying so we have very clear communication. Even in our first visit she gave me some good strategies to use. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

More about Nichole Gause, LCSW

Hello, I'm Nichole Gause, a licensed mental health professional. I hope you are having good days, but if you are struggling, then know there is no need to go it alone. Everyone may think you are as put together as a puzzle, but if any of the following are familiar, then let's talk about how to make it better: "I can't stop thinking or worrying about things." "I just feel down, and I'm not even sure why." "Somewhere deep inside I feel I'm not smart enough or good enough to have what I want." "If I could just get over what happened..." "It's so hard to sleep through the night." We often get messages that we shouldn't need anyone or that we should be able to handle things all on our own. Actually, we are built for connection. We heal in relationship. If you are dealing with any of the above, you are definitely not alone, and we can talk about how to make it better. While I am experienced in helping people manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship issues, you are the expert on you. I will listen to you, because counseling is a partnership. As your partner, I will journey with you through these challenging times and use my skills honed from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) Christian Cognitive Behavior Therapy Let's schedule a brief phone consult to determine if we make a good partnership. Together we can examine what you are experiencing and work to improve your life. Fun Facts: I learned to swim when I was over 40 years old (because it's never too late to try something new) I hide from my kids to eat candy (because it's okay to take care of yourself)
