Nicole is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who has extensive experience working with expecting and new mothers, NICU families, and those with additional needs navigating the healthcare system. She received her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania and her undergraduate degree from George Mason University. Prior to joining Columbia Associates, Nicole worked in the healthcare setting as a Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and NICU social worker. Nicole’s hospital experience enhanced her passion for women's and maternal mental health. Nicole’s specialties include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, adjusting to parenthood, and supporting NICU families, to name a few. Additional interests include, but are not limited to, working with individuals experiencing life changes, anxiety, depression and those who struggle with perfectionism.
Nicole uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach. She believes you are the expert of your own life, and is dedicated to supporting and empowering you to live the fulfilling life you deserve. Her goal is to provide her clients with a safe and compassionate space, and to help them explore and feel validated in their feelings.
