Nina combines kindness and thoughtfulness. She has an amazing ability to listen intensely and compassionately and also to share real insight that made me think in a new way about my life. She is a brilliant therapist.
I was skeptical when I started therapy. I had been in therapy twice before - once when I was around 16, after my father died, and again when I was 27, after grad school and a bad break-up with a long-term partner. Neither experience was very helpful, although the therapists - one of whom was a "famous" analyst - were good, well-intentioned people. Nina was recommended by a friend who I trusted so I thought I'd try one last time at age 32. All I can say is that the experience has been transformative and profound, although painful at times. It's not a "quick fix". You have to put in the time and the effort. But I can't overstate the impact it's had on my life.

A kind, and thoughtful therapist. I found her to be very helpful/insightful and appreciated the in person or remote options.
