Hi there, I'm Oprah!
My name is Oprah Ingram and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in South Carolina and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with young adults and specialize in depression, self-esteem issues, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, intrusive thoughts, career challenges, and breaking generation curses using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help my clients make progress.
My approach
My therapeutic style is adaptable to the specifics of each client I work with while still being open, genuine, forthright, and collaborative. I primarily employ cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy because these two modalities support the development of a shared knowledge of the client's reality and enable collaboration on a course of action.
My focus
My style and approach are well-suited for young adults navigating life transitions and breaking generational curses (negative habits or behaviors passed down from generation to generation). This frequently manifests as anxiety, depression, lack of self-awareness, stress, negative self-talk, and repeating undesirable behaviors. I work to aid my clients in navigating these transitional phases and equip them with the skills necessary to feel better about themselves and adopt a more optimistic outlook on life.

My communication style is calm, warm, genuine, direct, collaborative, and personable. I aim to establish a welcoming environment where clients can express themselves without worrying about being judged.
