Dr. Patrizia “Trish” Tolentino graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the same institution in May 2020. She has honed her skills by working in various clinics and hospitals across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Through these clinical experiences, she has treated a wide range of sport-related injuries, orthopedic, vestibular, cardiovascular conditions, and neurologic disorders. Her patient care spans all ages, from pediatrics to the geriatric population.
Dr. Tolentino's passion for physical therapy was inspired by her own journey through sports. After experiencing chronic pain from overtraining, she avoided surgery through proper rehabilitation. This personal experience revealed to her the profound impact a physical therapist can have on an individual's recovery and quality of life.
Having faced injuries herself, Dr. Tolentino understands that physical activity is not only essential for daily function but also a core part of a person's identity. Her mission is to help individuals maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. She is currently pursuing certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and aims to become a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.
