About Dr. Anika Paul

Dr. Anika Paul is the founder and owner of Mettle Physical Therapy, located in Basking Ridge, NJ. She believes that one-on-one patient care, using an evidence-based approach, is vital in returning patients to their desired function. Equally important, but often overlooked by other clinicians in the industry, is establishing a maintenance and prevention protocol to avoid recurrence of the injury in the future. Dr. Paul earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the New York Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor's degree from City University of New York, Queens College. Note from Dr. Anika Paul: Since completing my Physical Therapy degree, I have always looked forward to coming to work each day and meeting different people from all walks of life. I take great pride in my work and strive to provide the best quality of care to each of my patients. I truly enjoy the interaction aspect of my profession-I love discussing my patients' goals and motivating them to improve their function. I enjoy having a meaningful relationship with my patients and believe it is absolutely crucial to establish a solid rapport with each one. Being a physical therapist allows me to work with amazing people and creates a constantly changing environment full of challenges. This is why I feel being a physical therapist is not just a job for me, but also an adventure!
