Hello there, I am looking forward to working with you. I practice honesty in the therapeutic relationship and aim to help you learn from life experiences to support your recovery process. My ultimate goal is to help you live a better life. You can expect me to be honest and helpful. I offer compassionate listening, free of biases, expectations, or preconceived judgments. I see the therapist's role as helping you learn to adapt and cope with your problems, offering suggestions and honesty to facilitate that process.
I treat clients ages 20 to 65 who are experiencing anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, stress, divorce, infidelity, men's issues, PTSD, and mood disorders. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my sessions and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I often educate my clients about their diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment options so you can better understand your situation.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor's degree from Mercer University.
