Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Rose! Reaching out is a victory! People seek counseling for various reasons. Some come because someone close suggested it; others have specific goals or issues to address. Many struggle with common challenges, and sometimes a little help is all we need to navigate life’s obstacles. These challenges help us grow into who we’re meant to be. If trauma has affected your journey, breathe... help is here. I can help you lead a life worth celebrating. While we can't change the past, we can work together to use those experiences for growth and understanding. My approach With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Norwich University and 20+ years of experience with adults, families, and children, I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach addressing mind, body, and spirit. I am a published author and expert on trauma, child development, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I integrate techniques based on client needs, commonly using CBT, DBT, Narrative, EMDR, and IFS. My focus I work with clients aged 5 to 80, including individuals, families, teens, and children. As a trauma therapist, I assist in healing past trauma and empower clients with resources and skills through EMDR and Internal Family Systems. When reprocessing trauma memories, you need a therapist who provides safe coping and processing tools. My communication style Therapy sessions should be a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings without judgment. It’s important that the therapist relates to the client and that the client feels comfortable opening up.
