Hi there, I'm Cassonia! Life doesn’t always go according to plan—and sometimes the hardest part is figuring out who you are in the middle of the change. I’m a therapist who helps people navigate life’s transitions, whether that means starting over, changing careers, ending a relationship, becoming someone new, or simply realizing that the life you’re living no longer fit My focus I am most passionate about working with minority groups and queer individuals as I work to challenge the negative stigmas sounding seeking out mental health care. I mostly use a eclectic approach with evidence-based intervention from CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches. My journey to mental healthcare I grew up in a Black household where mental health was taboo, even though I witness many family member struggled with unaddressed mental health challenges.
