Raquel is the best! She’s incredibly attentive, empathetic and knows exactly how to solve problems/dig deeper beyond the surface. She always tries to stay unbiased during conversations, but is able to understand the patient and show unwavering support. You can tell that she is very passionate about helping people! She always remembers our past conversations and never has to be reminded about something from the past. Thank you Raquel for being the best!!!!!

Raquel is a fantastic therapist. She levies her endless number of techniques and vast experience to address a wide range of mental health issues. She has worked with me on anxiety and ADHD. Currently, we are working on organizing and using software to manage my ADHD symptoms. After searching for so long, I am grateful that I now have a therapist who works on the issues that truly matter to me.
You can not go wrong with her!

Hello! My name is Raquel, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving patients in Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, and Ohio. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Dominican University. I have experience working as a psychotherapist with adolescents, families, and adults. I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, parenting and family concerns, as well as relationship issues. I have an emphasis in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My counseling style is person-centered, interactive, and respectful. My goal is to meet you where you are and encourage a dialogue that helps develop, encourage, and find motivation toward your goals. My approach combines Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Rational-Emotive, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral theories and approaches. By working together, we will create a specified goal and treatment plan that fits your unique and specific needs.

Raquel is a wonderful therapist. She has helped me through a tough few years of change exacerbated by my ADHD. She tunes in and focuses on what I need at the time, which ranges from deeper emotional reflection to practical help with my ADHD. I have grown and learned a lot about myself with her. She is kind, easy to talk to and insightful.
