More about Rebecca Flores, LPC
Hi! I’m Rebecca Flores. I help sensitive women work through trauma so they can feel good enough again, move away from people-pleasing tendencies, and feel more empowered in their lives. Growing up was difficult. Life wasn’t always as calm and nurturing as you needed. You were often told you were “too sensitive” or “too” this or “too” that. This type of pressure made you feel like you didn’t belong. It’s not that you don’t like being a unique person, but part of you really longs to feel like you do belong. You’ve been through tough experiences, but you’ve always been able to push through those times—until now. You’re wondering why it’s so tough right now. You’re running on empty and feeling drained. You put others first to a fault. It’s hard to say “no.” You feel guilty all the time. You feel like you have to be perfect and please everyone. You come second no matter what. You don’t want to be a pushover, and you want to put yourself first, but you feel selfish if you do. You don’t say when things bother you until they really bother you, and you hold things inside. You don’t like conflict and know that boundaries are important, but you’re having trouble keeping them in place because you don’t want to be confrontational. Your energy is wiped, and you’re feeling like you’re just not good enough no matter what you do. You don’t want to care what others think, but you don’t feel like you’re good enough for others either. You’ve Hidden Things Well No one can tell because, from the outside looking in, you hold it all together, as you always have. But it’s getting harder and harder to do so. Something has changed, making it harder for you to keep things at bay. You feel like you’ve lost the happy moments, your vibrancy, and your confidence is at an all-time low. You’re burnt out, and your mind is working overtime, leaving you exhausted. You’re not sleeping, and you feel like such a burden.. You’re not sleeping, and you feel like such a burden.
