I am a psychotherapist working with adolescents, adults, and couples. My style is active and interactive. I ask questions and offer feedback, always with compassion and humor, never with judgement.
My background is in social work and I’ve had the privilege to practice on three continents, in Israel, Australia, and now in NYC. I have worked with women exiting the sex industry, provided outpatient psychiatric as well as community and home-based care, and provided counseling to New Yorkers from all walks of life in both agency and private settings.
I love this work and am driven by curiosity. What makes us think and feel and act the way we do? My hope is to provide the space and comfort for my clients to explore questions like these and find the freedom and courage to live as their best selves.

I've seen other therapist who kind of sit there and occasionally ask how I feel but with Ricki it's much more of a conversation which for me is SO much more productive. I went at first because I've been struggling to really set boundaries in my relationships and Ricki has been so helpful. Still working on it but feeling like I have so many more options than I knew

My partner and I went to see Ricki because we kept having the same fight over and over again. She helped us to have a deeper conversation about what was going on and we both felt so heard and supported. It helped us that she didn't take sides but validated us both. She really has been a godsend for us.

My wife and I have been seeing Ricki for a couple of months and we are in a totally different place than we were. Ricki's empathy for both of our struggles has helped us to have more of it for each other. We can actually have conversations again. Thank you Ricki for your warmth and wisdom!
