“Renee has been an absolute Godsend! She really listens and helps me face my difficult thoughts and issues that I try to suppress or avoid. As a minority, I feel like I can relate to her more and I feel more comfortable speaking with her. Every time I have a session with her, I leave feeling a bit lighter and I take the knowledge reviewed and acquired during the session into my daily life. She is really helping me to cope with life and the people in my life. With her help, I’ve found it easier to let the toxic people around me go safely and trust that better will come along. This is a process however, and I haven’t cut everyone off but I’m taking more steps toward peace and for that, I am grateful.”

Hi, it is so amazing that you are reaching out to take care of your mental health. People often seek recovery for the body and forget about the mind. Just as much as you need to take care of your physical health by eating healthy and working out, your mental health is just as important. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from New York University, and I am here to help guide you to a point where you can be mindful and accepting of who you are, change and grow as needed, and reach a sense of calm within yourself.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have experience working with patients with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, bereavement, life transitions, trauma, and relationship issues.
I believe, with the right treatment approach, clients can gain introspection into their lives and be empowered to act as they see fit.

After a time of outrageous nervousness which brought about fatigue and low state of mind I hesitantly settled on the choice to look for some help. Renee Marte was consoling and accommodating from our absolute first meeting. We examined treatment choices throughly, with next to no strain to take a specific course. I felt consoled by her trust in the treatment choice we together chose. Sufficiently sure, after only 3 weeks I felt such a ton better, and ready to get back to the things I recently cherished.

Wow, that's the word that comes to mind when I think about Renée. Renée's professionalism and compassion was unmatched by any other therapist I have ever met. She made me feel like I was talking to a friend and not someone that might judge me. Most importantly she made me feel heard at a time when I felt invisible to most people. I highly recommend Renée for anyone seeking mental health.
