Robin is a native New Yorker, born in Queens. Their approach to therapy is to provide a safe and open environment to explore past traumas and stressors affecting their clients’ mental health. They believe it is also important to challenge clients in a way that is educational and engaging so they are looking forward to the therapeutic process.
Robin has experience working with clients of the LGBTQ+ community, clients who are neurodivergent, survivors of domestic violence, and clients experiencing anxiety and depression. Robin utilizes a strengths-based approach, as well as CBT and DBT.
Robin received their MSW at Lehman College and currently is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Robin has worked in other community agencies that serve the LGBTQ+ community, including advocacy work in NYC jails as an LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator.
