Ron is a graduate of Walden University in Minneapolis, MN where he earned both a Master's in Psychology and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Ron bases his counseling practices on the foundation of God’s word and integrates different theoretical approaches based on the needs of the clients he serves.
Ron has 12 plus years of experience working with individual adolescents and adults, and he specializes in marriages and families, as well as blended families. In addition to that, he works with those experiencing challenges from mental health disorders, abuse, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, relationship concerns and has specialized training in coaching. Ron also has a passion in working with individual men who are seeking to grow their walk with the Lord and becoming the man, father and husband that God has called them to be.
Ron has been married to his wife for 17 years. They have two biological children, and have adopted a third daughter They are also foster parents and are currently fostering a little boy who they hope to be able to adopt as well. Ron has led multiple faith based small groups at his local church, runs an Anger Management group (court ordered or not) as well as a hosting a Marriage Coaching group.
Ron is available to see clients at the Irwin Office, and the Belle Vernon office.
