I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. My specialities include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, executive functioning, and relationship concerns. I truly believe that therapy is an integral tool for maintaining good mental health. Therapy helps us develop a strong sense of self, encourages us to gain new perspectives, helps steady our mood and improves our relationships. Therapy also helps process trauma, reduces anxiety, manage stress and unlearn bad habits. Through empathy, active listening and unconditional positive regard we will work together to meet your goals!
I use an integrative, strengths-based and solution focused approach. I operate through a trauma informed lens and utilize evidenced- based Interventions including (but not limited to) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavior Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
I value relationships and culture! I work with my clients to build rapport, trust and feel a sense of relief and support. I believe that the relationship between myself and my clients is paramount. Above all else I want my clients to feel emboldened, empowered, supported and truly themselves!
