I obtained my Masters in Counseling from Virginia State University. I have real life experience working with individuals and families hands on in their home, school and community. I treat various issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, ADHD, social anxiety, troubled youth, relationship problems and women's issues. I believe that when a person has hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.
My training and direct clinical practice experience includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused. I have counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings including private practice and community-based services.
I bring trust, honor, respect, humor, and authenticity to this process. I welcome the opportunity to assist others on their own therapeutic journey.
