Sara gained most of her clinical experience in corrections working with a diverse population of inmates, many presenting with co-occurring disorders i.e. PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance Use Disorders. She is highly person-centered, encouraging, excellent at building trust and rapport, and views therapy as a collaboration. She truly listens with the intent of understanding and meeting clients where they’re at. Sara is flexible with therapeutic approach and pacing. She has the ability to work quickly and efficiently (solution-focused, directive) conversely, participate in long-term therapeutic relationships to support clients throughout their journeys. Sara believes in quality of life and overall health and wellness and hopes to help clients achieve this as well. She is passionate about self-improvement, but always in balance with quality of life, fun, and relaxation. On her free time, she enjoys participating in weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muy Thai, language studies, spending time with nature, and turning on a binge-worthy series.
