My experience as a youth worker and community organizer has inspired me to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's in Clinical Social Work from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Online. I view my role as working in collaboration alongside you on your healing journey. As a queer and non-binary therapist, I believe in creating a space where you can be your full and authentic self.
While working together, you can expect validation, authenticity, compassionate curiosity, and kindness. My approach to therapy is inspired by collective liberation, radical self-love, and trauma-informed care. My specialty areas include LGBTQIA+, gender identity/gender expansiveness, harm reduction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and I am neurodiverse affirming.
As a therapist, I value autonomy and empowerment. I am committed to anti-racism and a lifelong learner of anti-oppression frameworks. Both inform my understanding of the ways systemic oppression harms us as individuals and our communities. Some additional modalities that inform my practice include DBT, Parts Work, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. I am inspired by human resilience and I see you as a whole person, not a diagnosis.
