What should a new client know about working with you?

I can support you through navigating anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and building coping skills. Based on your goals, I integrate talk therapy with a variety of techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, and strength-based approaches. Based on your interests, I also incorporate holistic approaches to the mind, body, and spirit, such as mindfulness and traditional healing practices. I aim to collaborate with you to develop and achieve your therapy goals. I work with adults, couples, and young adults.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The most important part is building a trusting relationship between us, so you feel safe and supported in the healing process. The first sessions include building trust and understanding of you as an individual, as well as exploring your support systems and the environment that impacts your life. We collaboratively explore goals to enhance your strengths, learn and practice new skills, and processes to meet your needs. We will start each session with a check-in to explore immediate life stressors and continue to work on goals.
