Sonja uses an integrated and collaborative approach to therapy. She utilizes mindfulness and acceptance-based interventions to foster a deeper and more compassionate relationship to Self, while also working with you to take concrete action towards your goals. Sonja’s main focus is on the therapeutic relationship, fostering a trusting space for curiosity, growth and healing.?
Sonja has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is a certified Life Coach. She works with individuals who are hurting from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and bereavement, trauma, life transitions, and questions of identity. Sonja adopts a feminist approach to therapy and is particularly sensitive to women’s issues. She also enjoys working with young adults who are figuring out their roles in this world. Sonja seeks to create a safe and affirming space for individuals of all identities.
