I honestly felt very welcomed and she was extremely patient with me and listening to everything i jad to say. She was very considerate and hobest with me about every step of our first session. I feel comfortable enough to say whats on my mind without feeling judged. I definitely recommend seeing Stephanie.

Hello there, I am looking forward to working with you. My therapeutic style is adaptable to your personality, ranging from warm, respectful, and direct to encouraging you with comic relief. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space so clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences can build a life worth living.
I have experience assisting clients with exploring their values, creating appropriate goals with a compassionate lens, identifying unhelpful beliefs and unhealthy behaviors, increasing healthy coping skills, and recognizing their strengths to improve overall wellness. I aim to provide a safe space where you can increase self-awareness and build on your existing skill sets as you improve your life. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John's University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.

Stephanie was a delight to speak with. She was a great listener who interjected humor to break the ice and make me feel very comfortable opening up and talking about difficult topics. I did not feel judged in the slightest and felt more understood than anything. I look forward to our future sessions.

She was beyond gentle and so wonderful. She allowed me to speak without judgement and made me feel aware that it was okay to be and have feelings that I was a human and not someone who needed a hospital or meds. She allowed me to talk about myself to allow me to be aware of things for myself and she allowed things to be spoken about for her to get a understanding of what is best for next steps she was just wonderful in motivation to make sure that as a individual you are your first priority. She was so kind and and so empathetic. I am so happy and I am hoping for a wonderful outcome. Thankful for her.
