I liked her right away. She really wants to help. She listens and she doesn't recommend medicine instantly, which is what I like. She was very helpful. I am going to her for a follow up.

Dr. Susana Grace Duncan acquired her medical training at the leading institutions for her specialties. A graduate with honors in Anthropology from Cambridge University in England, Dr. Duncan served as the award- winning science editor of New York magazine before receiving her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cornell University New York Hospital Medical Center and the world renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in Pain Management. She also gained invaluable experience in pain management as Medical Director of the AIDS Dormitory at Riker's Island Prison, and served as attending clinician in Rehabilitation Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Duncan is one of the leading interventional physiatrists in New York , specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, spine, sports and performing arts injuries. Her practice provides treatments for disc, nerve, muscle and joint injuries. She also provides management for weight problems, arthritis, gait and balance disorders. Treatment is provided under state of the art imaging, including in office ultrasound, and includes therapeutic botox injections, trigger point injections, steroid joint, tendon and muscle injections and therapeutic exercises.
