Getting to know Tamara Hicks

I have learned that I am not for everyone, and everyone is not for me. I am a whole vibe, professionally speaking. Therapy is a journey-one in which the client is in the driver's seat and the therapist is in the passenger seat, shotgun! When you come to therapy, it's like showing up in some type of vehicle; I will gladly get in and help navigate throughout the ride. Once the ride ends, I get out and say goodbye until next time. Oh, and I make sure during the ride you don't run us off the road ;) I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, which has equipped me to support clients on their unique journeys.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
