Psychotherapist
OH
I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from John Carroll University. My counseling approach incorporates person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and CBT-related techniques. Some of my areas of focus include anxiety, life transitions, parenting, life stressors, ADD/ADHD, relationship distress, and much more. Although these are typically my preferred therapeutic practices, I believe each client is unique and requires an approach tailored to their specific needs. Every client is an expert on their own life circumstances, and my role is to provide unconditional support, empathy, and feedback as they navigate this phase of their life. The clients I most often work with are those struggling with various mental health concerns or life phase transitions. Some of these diagnoses include, but are not limited to, anxiety disorders, OCD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, autism, life transitions, couples, parenting, and many other circumstances people encounter while navigating the complexities of life. I create a non-judgmental, welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable fully exploring the circumstances that brought them to counseling. This allows me to provide the best assistance possible and equip them with tools they can use for years to come. In our first session, I gather as much information as possible to provide the care clients deserve. By fully understanding their history and the issues that brought them to see me, I can better formulate how to proceed in future sessions.
