Hello. I am Thelma. My life has been built around helping those individuals finding a better place in their life. To help them process the most difficult things in their life. To help them see the things they cannot change because they can at times become powerless and lost. I am Rhode Island born individual currently living in Albany New York for the past 27 years. I have a son and a dog. I find truth in the innocence of life and joy in accepting change. I am a graduate of Rhode Island College with a bachelors degree in social work and sociology. I have attended Capella University and have a masters degree in Psychology and addictions. I am currently licensed in New York, Florida- telehealth, and West Virginia. My areas of specialty are: cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, substance abuse addictions, brief solution focus therapy. I work with adult people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, low self esteem, relationship issues nutrition and grief and loss issues. I provide Virtual remote counseling, telehealth counseling, and in person counseling in Albany, New York. When a person struggles with anxiety depression or trauma they often struggle with focus concentration poor eating and sleep. They want to return to their old selves but can't get there with out help. I can try to help you find the balance and quality of joy in your life.
