Will our “peace” lead us to a place of inner comfort and calm? So often, when we experience severe life stressors or trauma, we may feel like our “peace” is suddenly lost. When in this state, it is normal for us to feel stuck, sad, angry, withdrawn, lonely, and with low self-esteem. As a result, we may not live fully to our highest potential. My name is Van Nguyen. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Irvine, California. My passions are to help my clients find/restore inner peace, heal from traumas, strengthen their abilities to respond appropriately to current and future life demands and stressors, build healthy perceptions of themselves and the world they live in.
Imagine how life would be like if there is contentment and serenity when facing life stressors. I specialize in depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, life change issues, and adoption-related issues.
I use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, My 15 years of experience is a testament to my commitment and passion for this work. I am bilingual, Vietnamese, and English. I am also a mother of two young children, 11 and 8 years old.
