Victoria Lofgren, LLPC (pronouns she/her) received her undergraduate education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in applied developmental psychology with a minor in general art. Victoria pursued a masters degree in art therapy and counseling from Ursuline College in Cleveland, Ohio. During her career, Victoria has worked in a wide range of settings ranging from school based counseling support, residential treatment facilities, and hospital settings. Victoria has also traveled abroad and domestically providing art therapy and counseling services to individuals in Nepal, Peru and, Native American Reservations in South Dakota.
In her therapy practice, Victoria sees children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of mental health concerns. Victoria likes to utilize the approach of client-based, trying to hold a flexible and safe environment for clients to explore feelings, express themselves appropriately, and gain skill sets to help them manage stressors. Victoria utilizes art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Art therapy is modality used in counseling to assist individuals to explore the unconscious mind and explore and express feelings. Art therapy does not require any skill set and is open to everyone of all ages.
In her personal life, Victoria loves to spend time outside hiking, and playing sports. Victoria also enjoys creating art, traveling, and spending time with friends.
