Getting to know Kimberly Taylor
Hello,
My name is Kimberly. Have you ever wished to find a heart-centered therapist of color who combines the clinical with the holistic? If so, you have been guided to the right profile. I am a mystic at heart, who not only seeks truth but also ways to create a New Earth for all. Through my healing journey, I discovered that the path to a New Earth is through the heart. To heal our hearts and shine our brightest light, we must clear out the darkness caused by trauma, limited beliefs, circumstances of birth, and the stressors of post-modern living. If given the opportunity, I'd be honored to guide you on your journey.
I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Wayne State University. As a teaching counselor, I've worked in a variety of settings ranging from community mental health, residential programs, agencies, schools, refugee camps, to private practice. I have 12 years of experience counseling teens and adults struggling with trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, codependency, women's issues, domestic violence, and more. I am also fluent in Spanish.
I utilize EMDR, ERP, DBT, Mindfulness, CBT, IFS, and holistic practices to create a unique healing experience tailored to you.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During the first session, I would like to get to know my client's life, challenges and beliefs through keen listening and observation. This will allow us to create a holistic roadmap for your healing journey. I intend that you leave with a greater sense of hope and the feeling that you have a supportive ally.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
