I have been in treatment with Wakelyn since 2018. I was never a "believer"in therapy and thought it wouldn't do anything for me. I couldn't have been more wrong. I really didn't know what to expect, let alone how much I needed to learn and understand about myself.
Before our first session, I interviewed over 100 therapists from all different expertises and experience ranges. Not a single one of those seemed like a good fit. I had reached out to Wakelyn through an online form and when we discussed her practice, I sensed a strong commitment from her to ensure I would feel comfortable with therapy.
Here's the thing, and it's really important if this is the only part of this you read: Wakelyn creates a tool box filled with tools to help you navigate the world you create for yourself as well as the one you interact with on a daily basis. The work is hard, the homework is harder, the reward is priceless.
