My approach I use solution-focused (SFT) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reframe negative thought patterns or behaviors and develop coping skills and tools to identify your individual strengths. This approach is hands-on with the hope you will feel more confident and in control of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Based on your individual needs, my approach may include discussions around coping skills, self-care, mindfulness, and journaling. Your goals and progress are my primary focus to identify any challenges and to develop healthy strategies to help you move forward without judgment and lasting positive change. My focus I have experience working with individuals 17 years and up, navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, depression, women's issues, parenting, elderly parents, work/career challenges and changes, coping with grief and loss, and who are seeking support for college/career planning, self-esteem issues, anxiety, stress, family concerns, and next steps. Whether you’re working through a breakup, the loss of a job, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a growth plan that feels achievable. My communication style I like to have clear, open and honest communication to create a comfortable, relaxed, supportive environment. I am an active listener who will give you the opportunity to reflect on your experiences with patience, empathy, kindness and support.
