Hi there, I'm Jerry, a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA and over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and research in behavioral health counseling and science. My journey in mental health has been driven by a deep passion for helping individuals navigate their unique challenges and find a path to healing and growth. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to understand your needs and develop strategies that are tailored to you.
I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a range of issues including antisocial behavior, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health. I also have extensive experience supporting military personnel and veterans, addressing multicultural and diversity issues, and managing conditions like narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD, stress, anger management, addiction, trauma, suicidal ideation, and grief/bereavement.
My approach is grounded in needs assessment and solution-focused treatment interventions. I am adept at crisis management and employ a variety of counseling and psychotherapy techniques to help you achieve your goals. Whether you're struggling with substance use and addictions (drugs, alcohol, pornography, and sexual addictions) or co-occurring disorders, I'm here to provide the support and guidance you need.
