Are you wishing you could feel less anxious in the present, more optimistic about your future, less pulled down by your past? I can help you accomplish these goals. Though life offers challenges, therapy provides relief and resolution.
My practice integrates both psychodynamic and evidence based forms of treatment. I am skilled in treating anxiety, depression and PTSD as well as relationship issues. I have extensive training in treating trauma as well as grief and bereavement. I am a certified couples and marital therapist.
Early trauma, such as emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, can interfere with one's ability to manage their emotions, navigate through relationships effectively, and put the past to rest. I can help those who struggle with these difficulties by utilizing the STAIR/NST modality and EMDR, research proven approaches that treat PTSD as well.
My clients come out of treatment feeling better about themselves and with the skills needed to improve their relationships. I adjust my rates so that potential clients will not be turned away from quality care due to financial concerns. I offer Sunday appointments for those with busier schedules.
