Yaritssa is a very kind, very compassionate therapist. She will listen to you with empathy, and guide you with grace. I especially appreciated her connection to my heritage, which I was working through in regards to my identity at the time. I would definitely recommend Yaritssa to anyone who is looking for talk therapy, and a positive person!

Welcome, Bienvenidos!
I am Yaritssa Cabassa and I am a Mental Health counselor. I am a first-generation graduate from a big Dominican family born in the Bronx NY and raised in Harlem NY. Growing up in those areas of NYC and having realized what my family went through to get here lead me to the mental health field.
Our communities need to see representation in the field and that’s why I am here! Some of the issues I specialize in are Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety to name a few. I am here for you! Let us take these steps together to heal our past and welcome a healthier future!

Yaritssa was an incredible support system throughout my therapy journey. She really created a safe safe for me to feel heard. She is very compassionate, attentive and understanding. Her advice and guidance really helped my personal growth and the challenges I was facing. I recommend Yaritssa to anyone who is seeking therapy.
