"This review is long overdue and is so only because I've struggled with how to make sure I thank Dr. Jun and his protégé Gregory sufficiently. Before going to Dr. Jun, I had seen a Reproductive Endocrinologist, who told me that I had a 2% chance of getting pregnant with IUI; in other words, my only chance was IVF and there was pretty much 0% chance of getting pregnant on my own. (My ovarian reserve was in the lowest 2% of women aged 35-40—I was 36 at the time—and I had a high FSH level.) I wanted to make sure I exhausted all of my options before turning to IVF, so I changed my diet and exercise regimen, started meditation classes to deal with stress, and started acupuncture. With the first acupuncturist I went to, my cycle regulated quickly (I ovulated on the 14th and had a 28 day cycle) but each month during my treatment (I saw her for about six months), my period became lighter and lighter and I became more and more irritable, to the point where I was waking up angry pretty much every day (my poor husband!). I decided that I should try someone different, and found Dr. Jun, whose website indicated that he specialized in fertility treatments. After assessing me, Dr. Jun and Gregory told me they thought I was healthy and that I could conceive—what a breath of fresh air after all of the tests and “infertility” labeling I’d experienced with Western medicine. They indicated that the herbs my original acupuncturist had prescribed me weren’t right for my condition and proceeded to start me on a new formula along with acupuncture treatments 2-3 times a week (I’m lucky to have insurance that covers acupuncture). Within a few weeks, my irritability decreased dramatically and my period began to return. Within two months of beginning treatment with Dr. Jun and Gregory, I was pregnant. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl in June 2014. What’s more, I am pregnant again, which, according to Western medicine, should be impossible—it was “impossible” the first time around and now I’m even older (with older eggs) and I was still breastfeeding at the time (nature’s birth control). I was planning on returning to Dr. Jun and Gregory when I was ready to start trying for another child, but I really do think that the work they did to coax my system back into working order (so much less intrusive than Western medicine and with no side effects, etc.) is to credit for my continued fertility. What’s more, they were always kind and attentive and punctual. I can’t thank nor recommend them highly enough. "
