About Dr. Elyse Kerschner

Dr. Elyse Kerschner strives to create a lasting, fun and positive memory of going to the dentist for kids. She is a strong believer in preventive dentistry and teaching children and their families’ healthy habits to encourage a lifetime being free of dental disease.
She then attended New York University College of Dentistry to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Falling in love with NYC, Dr. Kerschner continued her dental training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, completing a general practice residency and two year specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She is AAPD board eligible. In her spare time, Dr. Kerschner enjoys traveling, yoga, biking, cooking and reading.

Dr. Kerschner was the best dentist my young could’ve seen. She was full of joy and smiles. She made my boys’ dentist experience very enjoyable. They can’t wait to go see her again. As for me (mom), I felt very comfortable with Dr.Kerschner. She was sincere and informative. My boys and I were very happy with our visit!

My daughter has seen Dr. Kerschner for several years now. She’s aged out of pediatrics now. We’re super happy with Dr. Kerschner. It has been such a pleasure. She is friendly, communicative and great bedside manner. Highly recommended. Office staff are also pleasant and professional.

Fantastic experience! Brought my almost 2yo for her first ever dentist appointment and will be going back. Dr. Kerschner made the appointment a fun experience for my daughter and was patient and playful to make her feel comfortable. They also have a clean, kid friendly waiting area, options to watch child's favorite show during the appointment and fun surprise toy at the end! Highly recommend - have already signed up to go back!

They are trying to hide the fact that our insurance is out of network until I asked for the detail of pricing. The doctor was trying to do as much as possible for my 6 yo daughter to max out the insurance while she only needs one cavity filling. They are definitely overbooked as the doctor was so rushing!

office was busy but in control. very good energy. Clean and quite top notch. Just seemed like they have it together. Dr. Kerschner has a great touch with kids. Knows how to engage them, entertain them and most importantly, connect and empathize with them. Was a quick, productive, effective and across all areas positive visit. Highly recommend if you are looking for a pediatric dentist or even a general dentist. I love the area where the clinic is, so thats a ++

Our experience with Dr. Elyse was an excellent one. She put my toddler at ease and answered all the questions we had. The office was clean and very kid friendly. We will definitely be going back, and I plan to refer my friends as well.

It was the first time I took my two year old to the dentist and we where both a bit nervous. The playroom was awesome large and inviting with many interesting toys. Dr Kershner was gentle and patient, she explained all the instruments to him and let him touch them and become comfortable with them. My son loved it ! Highly recommended !!
