About Shannon Mohollen

Shannon Mohollen is a physician assistant at Stoll Medical Group, currently treating patients with a variety of gastroenterologic conditions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health at Penn State University and continued her education at Thomas Jefferson University, where she earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her previous clinical experience includes the multimodal management of chronic pain patients and clinical rotations across multiple specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine, equipping her with broad diagnostic and procedural skills. Shannon’s interest in medicine stemmed from lifelong participation in exercise and athletics, where she learned firsthand the philosophy of movement as medicine. She is passionate about educating patients on their health and encouraging them to take an active role in their care. She believes in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care and addressing the numerous variables that influence one’s health. Shannon is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, making it no surprise that she is an avid Philly sports fan. Outside of work, she enjoys living an active lifestyle with her husband and chasing around their children.
