About Dr. Akiva Maresky

Dr. Maresky earned his Doctorate from the Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. He also holds a Master’s degree from Rutgers University and is a published author and scientific researcher.
Dr. Maresky has completed extensive training in a wide range of dental procedures, including root canals, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. He strongly believes in the importance of preventive care for both adults and children, and he is dedicated to treating each patient with the utmost gentleness, compassion, and respect.
Known for his warm, patient-centered approach, Dr. Maresky is committed to excellence and strives to make every patient feel like part of the family.
Outside the office, he enjoys playing basketball, gardening, and playing guitar. Most of all, he values spending time with his wife, Shira, and their three wonderful children.

I live in Hamburg and I was lucky to have Dr. Maresky perform great work when I needed a complicated implant. After Dr. Maresky opened his practice in Wayne, it was an easy decision to drive 45 minutes to continue working with him and his staff. I would highly recommend them!

I had an excellent experience at Wayne Valley Family Dentistry with Dr. Maresky. I was seen the same day on new year's eve. I was honestly so impressed they fixed my cracked tooth Quickly, I couldn't believe it! They went above & beyond. Very efficient, professional, friendly staff, Highly recommended!

Dr. Maresky is a credit to the dental extension. I was in pain and could not find a dentist to see me right away. I called Wayne Valley Family Dentistry and was told to come right away. The staff is welcoming efficient and courteous. I walked out with absolutely no pain, I am so satisfied with this doctor, I will never go anywhere else, He is gentle and explains everything well, my kind of dentist.

Clean and friendly office, I had 2 implants and a root canal to treat a large infection, followed by crowns and veneers. Dr. Maresky is a life-saver, I can smile again, and I don't have anymore pain, Thank you so much.

Staff was extremely friendly and Dr Maresky was very thorough and meticulous. He spent a lot of time and explained everything in detail. I think it was the best cleaning I've ever had. He is also very nice and personable.

Went in for emergency broken infected tooth extraction, they were absolutely awesome, very attentive and making sure I was comfortable. Just great, and the pricing was good.

Hands down the best dentist Ive ever had! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the office is clean and modern. Dr. Maresky took the time to explain everything to me and put me at ease. The procedure was quick and painless and I left feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend!

Excellent technical skills making the patient feel so confident. I had a back upper molar extraction and felt 1000% functional able to chew right afterwards with absolutely no pain or soreness. I highly recommend Dr. Maresky and Wayne Valley Dental Office. The facilities and equipment modern and very aseptic!
